Detailed Design of 132/220 kV Substation for 78 MW Sanjen Khola HPP

Alpine Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. was engaged to carry out the detailed design and technical documentation for the 132/220 kV substation associated with the 78 MW Sanjen Khola Hydropower Project.
The assignment included preparation of Single Line Diagrams (SLD), general layout, structural design, and detailed engineering of key components such as power transformer foundations, earthing systems, GIS hall, and cable scheduling. The scope also covered communication system design and Substation Automation System (SAS) integration.
In addition to design, Alpine provided technical support during testing and commissioning to ensure proper system integration and operational readiness of both 132 kV and 220 kV systems.
The project contributes to reliable power evacuation and efficient operation of the hydropower facility through well-planned and technically sound substation infrastructure.
