To provide comprehensive environmental solutions to society through environmental consulting, innovative environmental technologies, sustainable products, and detailed engineering design services for hydropower and transmission line projects.
Objectives
- To provide professional environmental consulting services—including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), Brief Environmental Studies (BES) environmental monitoring, disaster risk management, and climate change studies—to government agencies, local governments, INGOs/NGOs, community-based organizations (CBOs), and private sector companies.
- To undertake studies and research on various aspects of environmental management, climate change adaptation and mitigation, disaster risk reduction, and sustainable development, either independently or in collaboration with national and international organizations.
- To provide training, workshops, and capacity-building programs on environmental management, climate change, and sustainable development for institutions, professionals, and local communities.
- To innovate, develop, promote, and transfer environmentally sound technologies and products for the protection, conservation, and sustainable management of natural resources and the environment.
- To provide engineering consultancy and detailed design services for infrastructure development projects, including hydropower plants, transmission lines, and other energy-related projects, ensuring compliance with national standards and international best practices.
- To carry out feasibility studies, technical assessments, and detailed engineering design for hydropower generation projects, including components such as intake structures, headworks, waterways, penstocks, powerhouses, and related civil, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- To provide planning, survey, and detailed engineering design services for transmission line projects, including route alignment, tower spotting, structural design, foundation design, and associated electrical infrastructure.
- To establish and strengthen networks of environmental and engineering professionals and organizations at national, regional, and international levels for knowledge exchange and collaborative initiatives.
- To promote knowledge sharing, research dissemination, and technology transfer in the environmental and infrastructure development sectors.
