CESHSMP Preparation for New Butwal – India Border 400 kV Transmission Line (18 KM)

Alpine Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. was engaged to prepare the Contractor’s Environmental, Social, Health and Safety Management Plan (CESHSMP) for the 18 km cross-border transmission line connecting New Butwal to the Nepal–India border.

The project is part of a major 400 kV double circuit transmission line developed under an EPC contract covering design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning. Our role focused on preparing a comprehensive CESHSMP to guide environmental, social, health, and safety management during project implementation.

The scope included identification of potential risks, development of mitigation measures, preparation of monitoring and reporting frameworks, and ensuring compliance with national regulations and safeguard requirements. The CESHSMP serves as a key operational document to support safe construction practices, regulatory compliance, and effective impact management.
