CESHSMP Preparation for New Butwal – New Damauli 400 kV Transmission Line

Alpine Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. was engaged to prepare the Contractor’s Environmental, Social, Health and Safety Management Plan (CESHSMP) for a 90 km 400 kV double circuit transmission line project connecting New Butwal Substation to New Damauli Substation.

The assignment was carried out under an EPC contract covering design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the transmission line. Our role focused on developing a comprehensive CESHSMP to ensure effective management of environmental, social, health, and safety aspects during project implementation.

The scope included identification of potential risks, preparation of mitigation measures, establishment of monitoring frameworks, and alignment with national regulations and project safeguard requirements. The CESHSMP serves as a practical guide for contractors to maintain compliance, ensure safety, and minimize environmental and social impacts throughout the construction phase.
