Environmental & Social Safeguard Support for New Butwal – India Border 400 kV Transmission Line

Alpine Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. is providing environmental and social safeguard support for the construction of the 18 km cross-border transmission line from New Butwal to the Nepal–India border under a major energy infrastructure project.

The assignment includes mobilization of consultants for environmental and social safeguard compliance, social inclusion, and forest clearance processes. Our team is supporting the project from implementation stage, ensuring all regulatory and safeguard requirements are properly addressed.

This project is being implemented under a design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning contract for the 400 kV double circuit transmission line. Alpine’s role focuses on facilitating approvals, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with national regulations and project safeguard standards.

The project is being executed for Transrail Lighting Limited under Contract No. MCA-N/ETP/CB/006 and is currently ongoing.
